ContactQuestions about prices and payment
Here is how ordering, payment and cancellations work. If your situation is not covered, ask us through the contact page before you decide anything.
How do I order a service?
Nothing is bought on this site. You send an enquiry through the contact page describing your studio and what you need. We reply with questions if required, then send a written quotation. Work starts once you have confirmed the quotation in writing.
How is payment taken?
We issue an invoice after you confirm the quotation, and you pay it by bank transfer using the details on the invoice. We do not take card payments or use any online payment service. The invoice states the amount, what it covers and the date payment is due.
What does a quoted price include?
The quotation lists the consultancy time, the written report, plan or guide, and any agreed revisions. It also states whether travel is included. Anything outside that list, such as extra visits or additional pages, is agreed with you in writing before it is charged.
What can change the price?
Mainly the size and complexity of the studio or event, the number of cameras, lighting positions or audio sources, travel distance and the volume of documentation. If the scope grows once work begins, we tell you before going further and agree a revised figure.
Can I cancel after confirming a quotation?
Yes, you can ask to cancel by writing to us. What is payable depends on how much work has been done by then, and the terms are set out in our payment and refund policy. We will confirm the amount in writing.
How is a refund paid?
Where a refund is due under the payment and refund policy, we return it by bank transfer to the account that paid the invoice. We confirm the amount in writing first, and we aim to make the transfer without unnecessary delay.
Do your prices include VAT?
Guide prices on this page are shown before VAT. Where VAT applies to your order, the written quotation and invoice show it as a separate line so you can see exactly what you are paying and why.
Can you give a price before I describe the project?
Only a rough guide, such as the calculator above. Studios differ a great deal, so a firm price needs a few details first. A short description of your rooms, kit and goals is usually enough for a written quotation.
Tell us about your studio and we will quote in writing
